Xi’an and Beijing, 17-27 November 2018
NMUN•China will be held in partnership with the Northwestern Polytechnical University which is celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2018.
At NMUN•China, delegates from colleges and universities will focus on pressing global issues while marveling at more than 2,000 years of Chinese civilization. Xi’an is a modern city of 8 million inhabitants that also embraces its history as an ancient capital at the start of the Silk Road.
The cultural tours include a visit to the first emperor’s Terracotta Army, 200 BCE-Qin Dynasty (UNESCO site), the ancient Xi’an City Wall, as well as the markets and Muslim quarter dating back to Marco Polo.
After the Xi’an Conference you can spend 4 extra days in Beijing

Core objective of these classes is the development of writing skills through a deep analysis of examples of UN documents and acts, and the implementation of practical exercises that will allow students to understand structure, content, typical lexicon, and vocabulary of a resolution adopted by UN bodies.
- UN Rules of procedure
The aim of Rules of Procedure (RoP) is to explain to the delegates how the regulations of the committee are applied during the conference, underlining the logic behind the single rule that has the aim of simplifying the work of the members of the committee in a specific moment and with a specific purpose.
